Juuuuust got back from the second time watching New Moon. The first time was yesterday/today, at midnight, and then today again.
I have to say, I think this movie was waaay better than the first one (although, let's be honest, that isn't a hard thing to accomplish)! I mean, the first one had all the excitement because we would get to finally meet the characters, hear them and see them, but this one was just better. And I think a lot of that was due to the new director.
Well, but since nothing can be perfect, here are a few things that REALLY annoyed me:
1. The contacts the vampires were wearing. In the first movie, they were a lot better... it was more discrete. Now the whole thing looks just weird; the colors pop out too much.
2. Their make-up. Okay, I get it -- vampires are white. Doesn't mean they have to look like a walking block of plaster. It was just so fake.
3. The wolf pack. I'm not saying they should all be glorious and gorgeous, I just think they should all be...... well, buff. Because that's one of the consequences of being a werewolf, right? If not, I really don't see the point of making Taylor Lautner (omg sooo hot!) go through all that trouble to put on a gazillion pounds of muscle. I would be pissed if I were him! He almost got sacked, for God's sake. And now they hire all these skinny/flacid/weird looking guys to play the pack. No no no.
4. Emily's face. It should have been a hell of a lot worse.
5. Rosalie. As always! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Nikki Reed. She's just not right for the part. They should've hired Evan Rachel Wood or something. A natural blonde, for starters. And then, she's not 'Rosalie' -- she's beautiful, but with her brown hair and tanned skin. She just looked so ugly and fake with her fake eyes, fake hair and fake skin.
6. Seeing RPattz's face throughout the whole movie. I LOVE HIM TO PIECES, but I just think it should be as faithful to the book as possible, and seeing him all the time took away the impact that would've been there when Bella and Edward meet again. It would've also helped to pass through the feeling Bella was getting when she was without him. Oh, well.
Other than that, I really liked the film. The script was pretty faithful to the book...
And, of course, I can't NOT mention His Royal Hotness, Robert Pattinson, and TayTay (whom I just fell in love with in this movie). I'm not much of a Taylor fan, but I have to give him props for this. In addition to filling up like that (drool!), he fits the part perfectly. He is absolutely flawless, and the scenes with Bella (KStew) are just as exciting as the ones with Rob. OHHHHHHHHHHHH, and there's also that scene (SPOILER!!) when he's in the kitchen with Bella after Alice arrives. They're alone and he just leans in to kiss her, and right before their lips touch he whispers "Bella..." and then, in Quileute, "I love you". There were no subtitles in this part, but come on! What else could it have been? All I know is that, whatever it was, my bones melted completely *¬*
Aaaanyways... go see it. Hate it, love it... but go see it.

OHHHHHHHH I just CANNOT WAIT for Cleolinda's New Moon in 15 Minutes. It will be simply. awesome. forever.
EDIT: Also, you would like to know that KStew's acting has improved a great deal since Twilight. So, that's a plus. She's much less KStew in the movie. Which is impressive, seeing that she plays herself in every single one of her films. ^^
mas brigada, é otimo ouvir isso! ^^
